Summer has been great, and fast as always, but the best thing about summer ending is that fall begins! Here in Hunterdon County there are so many great things to look forward to this season. Here is a list of where to go, what to eat and drink, and what to do for falls first big holiday, Halloween!

Fall Fun

Hunterdon Fest

Where: Liberty Village Premium Outlets, Flemington NJ.
When: September 6th 12pm-7pm
What: A Fall festival that celebrates Wine, Art, and Music. There will be a wine garden, live performances, an art gallery, and food provided by local restaurants.

Doylestown Arts Festival

Where: Downtown Doylestown
When: September 13th and 14th 10am-5pm
What: “The Biggest Weekend in Bucks County” The arts festival in Doylestown will have over 160 vendors and takes place along side competitive bike races throughout the weekend.

Hunterdon County Fall Antiques Fair

Where: Hunterdon County Fairgrounds on Rt. 179, Ringoes, NJ.
When: September 15th from 10am-4pm
What: See antiques from over 60 exhibitors from all over the tri-state area.

Flemington Pottery Festival

Where: Kissimmee River Pottery 12 Mine Street, Flemington, New Jersey
When: October 11th from 10am-5pm
What: A celebration of the art of Pottery! You can sign up to participate or come to enjoy and learn all about Pottery.

Unionville Vineyards Fall Harvest

Where: Unionville Vineyards 9 Rocktown Road, Ringoes, NJ
When: October 11th 12pm-6pm
What: The 17th annual Fall Festival will have wine tasting, live music, vineyard walks, and winery tours. The family is invited but no pets please.   Tickets are $20, ages 13-20 and designated drivers $10, 12 and under free!

Fall Food

Red Mill Wine and Beer Tasting

Where: Red Mill Museum Village
When: Saturday, September 13th from 7:00pm to 10:00pm
What: 5th Annual Wine and Beer Tasting Fundraiser. Welcoming September with wine, beer and bourbon accompanied by passed and plated appetizers and live music. Proceeds go to benefit the Museum. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased on the website or at the door.

Wine and Yoga

Where: Old York Cellars, 80 Old York Rd. Ringoes, NJ
When: Saturday September 13th from 11am-12pm
What: Join Tosia for a yoga class to rid your body of excess heat left over from the Summer and prepare for the fall weather. This is a mixed level yoga class and afterwards stay to taste some excellent wines over a beautiful view of the vineyard. For more information call 908-284-9463.

Apple Picking at Bonacorsi Farm

Where: 1137 Croton Road Flemington NJ
What: It’s time for apple cider, apple pie, and bobbing for apples. Make a day of it and pick your own at the Bonacorsi farm!

Lambertville Food Fare

Where: Downtown Lambertville
When: October 16th (Rain date October 23rd)
What: A pre-game to Halloween! This is round 2 for The Lambertville Food Fare which was run by the chamber of commerce back in June. This time there will be 15 additional food trucks along with the 15 participating restaurants and the beer garden presented by Yards Brewary. A $5 band is required to enter the beer garden and up to 3 beers (or wine) per person can be purchased for $5 each.

Scare Farm

Where: 116 South Branch Rd.Hillsborough, NJ 08844
When: September 26th– November 1st
What: Scare Farm, in nearby Hillsborough, has three haunted attractions and a not so scary corn maze to ensure Halloween fun for the whole family.

Clinton Haunted Villagehalloween boo

Where: Red Mill Museum Village 56 Main Street, Clinton, NJ
When: October 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25 festivities begin after dark.
What: Tickets for the 24th annual Haunted Mill are $25 at the door or on the website. You can also purchase express pass tickets, good for all 6 nights, for $45.

Pumpkin Picking and Frightfest

Where: Schaefer Farms 1051 County Route 523, Flemington NJ 08822
When: Pumpkin Picking weekends and holidays from late September to late October during the day and frightfest at night.
What: Bring your family on a scenic hayride to our 40+ acres of home grown pumpkins, FREE with the purchase of a pumpkin. Then at night Ride, Walk and then Run For Your LIFE at Hunterdon County, New Jersey’s Original & Most Sought After Halloween Attractions!
