WOWSA

Woodlands Wildlife Refuge announces a unique benefit – an exclusive art show and sale featuring prominent wildlife artists. “Wonders of Wildlife, Spirits and Art”, WOWSA, will be held on Sunday, November 18 from 1 -5 PM at The Farmstead, 43 Highway 202/31, Ringoes, NJ 08551.

Featured artists are: Douglas Allen, a painter of wildlife and landscapes whose work has been represented in the collections of several museums and galleries; James Fiorentino, a renowned watercolor artist known for detail realism in paintings of wildlife and some of the world’s most famous faces; Leslie Delgyer, a wildlife artist whose work focuses on endangered animals, shedding light on their plight and disappearing habitats; and Linda Rossin, who specializes in traditional miniatures featuring wildlife and nature.  Originals and prints from each artist will be available for show and sale in the Farmstead’s beautifully restored 100 year old barn, and each artist has generously donated an original piece to be auctioned.

This special event includes hand-picked bourbon and a selection of wine presented by Chris Beardsley, Manager of Bourbon Street Wine and Spirits. Todd Becker of Lone Eagle Brewing, Flemington NJ will provide craft beer. Music will be provided by The Raccoon Ridge Ramblers, a New Jersey cover band that plays an eclectic mix of tunes by a wide range of artists.  Meet the artists, listen to music, and enjoy delicious food by Emily’s Café & Catering.

Woodlands Wildlife Refuge has been caring for and releasing thousands of orphaned and injured native wild animals for 32 years. Woodlands cares for more than 1200 animals a year including raccoons, skunks, opossums, woodchucks, rabbits, coyotes, foxes, river otters, beavers, turtles, snakes and porcupines, among others. It is the only facility in New Jersey licensed to care for the state’s endangered bobcat and Timber rattlesnake, and the primary rehabilitation facility for black bears.

Tickets for Wonders of Wildlife, Spirits and Art are $35 before November 10th, $45 after and at the door.
