The Hunterdon Art Museum will host Women in Art: An Exploration of Mia Brownell with Zena Tredinnick-Kirby, an exciting new program that combines a lecture, discussion and art-creating project on Monday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m.

Participants will explore the work of Mia Brownell, currently featured with Martin Kruck in our current exhibition Skeptical Realism. Participants can either attend only the lecture or take part in the entire program and leave with a painting inspired by Brownell’s stylistic still-life paintings.

Tredinnick-Kirby earned her Master’s Degree and is a Ph.D. candidate in art education at The Pennsylvania State University. She taught advanced placement art history and advanced placement photography at North Hunterdon High School for 10 years.

To register and for more information, visit the classes and workshops for adults section of www.hunterdonartmuseum.org or call 908-237-4582.
