Dozens of artists and crafters from across the region will be featuring their work at the annual Prallsville Mills Holiday Sale on December 8 and 9 in Stockton. This year’s show will also feature horse and carriage rides on Saturday and complimentary wine and cheese receptions on both days.
“This is one of our most popular annual programs,” said Elizabeth Japchen, Mill Executive Director. “We’re always delighted to host such a talented group of artists to the Mill and to see the excitement they generate each year.”
The show features a collection of fine arts and craft work from some of the area’s most accomplished artisans working in a variety of media, from oil painting to wool, watercolor to fine wood, jewelry, ceramics, photography and more.
The show runs from 9:30 am to 5 pm on Saturday, December 8 and 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on Sunday, December 9. The horse and carriage rides will be offered on Saturday afternoon and the complimentary wine and cheese receptions will happen on both days.
Entry fee is $5, which makes possible the ongoing operations and preservation of the land and properties of the Prallsville Mills, considered a significant example of early American industrial architecture that is on the National Register of Historic Places.
