FALL BY FIRE HARVEST DINNER
Guest Chef Ian Knauer and friends (Highlands Dinner Club chefs along with our farm crew) will prepare a multi-course meal focusing on sustainable and locally sourced ingredients kissed by smoke, char, and flame. It’s a chance to immerse yourself in the beauty of Ironbound Farm’s 108-acre biologically diverse farm, fields, and forest scape while indulging in delicious food and drink, and lively enjoying community.
ABOUT THE CHEF
Chef Knauer began his culinary career in the test kitchens of GOURMET Magazine. After nearly a decade of cooking and eating his way around the world, he settled back at his family’s farm where he reconnected with his roots and the land. Fast forward several cookbooks and TV shows later, Knauer founded The Farm Cooking School with partner Chef Shelley Wiseman in Titusville, New Jersey. On any given day you’ll find him fermenting seconds from organic fields, teaching a whole-animal butchery class, baking bread or making cheese, and teaching others how to do the same.
