Ahhh breakfast- the most important meal of the day…the reason I wake up in the morning. While there are many wonderful breakfast foods to choose from to share your morning with, I’ve got to say a classic egg & cheese sandwich is hard to beat. While I like them plain & simple, classic egg & cheese fixings include bacon, ham, breakfast sausage, or of course the Philly-favorite, pork roll. Whatever your preference, Ennis’ Deli in Lambertville has mastered it.
Honestly, I have no idea how they make their sandwiches so tasty but all I know is they’re damn delicious. The eggs are perfectly fried on the open grill; they have just the right amount of classic American cheese is melted on top; and the soft kaiser roll provides the perfect base. I’m getting hungry now just thinking about it.
