It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day 2014 and there are plenty of ways to celebrate in Hunterdon County. Here are some events happening in the area to celebrate the Irish holiday:

St. Patrick’s Day Concert
A Boston-based trio of three Berklee College of Music graduates will perform an evening of live music that celebrates Irish heritage as well as the innovation of folk music in America. Tickets are $12 at the door.

Mulligans in Music
Enjoy an Irish dinner and an educational play about Hunterdon County’s Irish heritage. The production follows the 300-year history of two influential families in Hunterdon County, the Mulligans and Cahills. The event is being held in conjunction with the Hunterdon Tricentennial. Mulligans in Music will be performed by InZane Productions, a non-profit organization that focuses on performing arts programs for children and teens. Click here for details and tickets.

Friendly Sons Parade
The Friendly Sons of St. Patrick of Hunterdon will host a St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Clinton.  The parade will feature live music, step dancing and Irish wolfhounds.

When: March 16, 3 p.m.

Moose Lodge Dinner
The Flemington Moose Lodge is hosting a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner that will feature a menu of corned beef and cabbage as well as Irish step dancers for entertainment. The cost to attend is $12.

When: March 17, 5 to 8 p.m.

St. Patrick’s Day Supper Club
A special St. Patrick’s Day event to benefit the Lambertville Academy Playground Project will be held at The Swan Hotel. The evening will feature an Irish Buffet and drinks. Tickets are $50. Call 609-397-0194 for details.

Live Music by Traonach
Traonach will perform live Irish music at the Inn of the Hawke. The menu will include several Irish favorites, including steak and Guinness pie, bangers and mash and, of course, corned beef and cabbage.
