Join Hunterdon Land Trust for an unforgettable dinner that celebrates local and seasonal foods on Sunday, September 22, at the Beaver Brook Country Club in Annandale. It’s a delicious way to support the places you love in the Hunterdon County area.
The celebration begins at 5 p.m. with a cocktail hour featuring wines from Beneduce Vineyards, appetizers, and live music with the Tom McMillan Trio.

The event features a silent auction with a selection of unique items and experiences. Guests will have one last chance to participate in HLT’s raffle for a one-week stay at a luxurious oceanfront condo in Maui donated by Fieldstone Coffee Roasters. The winning ticket will be drawn at the dinner. Everyone attending the dinner will receive a ticket to win a basket full of HLT Farmers’ Market goodies.
The Menu
Chef Matt McPherson of Matt’s Red Rooster Grill and Nicole Martini of Sweetini’s Cake Shop will create culinary magic with food provided by local farmers.
The full-course dinner begins with Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse drum and cave-aged cheddar cheese, along with Sugar Maple Jersey’s Basil Cheese Curd accompanied by grilled apple chutney and Apple Ridge Farms’ French bread and black garlic butter. Then, enjoy a late summer salad with AquaSprout Farms’ fresh lettuce, arugula and an heirloom tomato vinaigrette. Choose a dinner entrée of either Griggstown Farm Chicken Paillard and garlic chive mashed Comeback Farm potatoes, or a vegetarian option of herbed wild rice stuffed peppers. A sweet ending to the evening features Cherryville Farms lavender and Neshanic Station Apiaries honey cupcakes with vanilla honey buttercream.
