True, there is no shortage of great breakfast options just a short drive from New Hope. Actually, Bucks Happening has had the pleasure of enjoying many of them- the member’s only Fred’s Breakfast, brunch at Mother’s, It’s Nutts in Titusville, and The Lovin’ Oven in Frenchtown to name just a few. However, Buddies’ unique retro atmosphere and killer breakfast menu stand up to the steep competition.

Buddies has been a part of Lambertville’s history since 1954. However, it re-launched during the summer of 2011 with a fresh redesign and a new & improved menu, providing the perfect mix of diner nostalgia and modern fusion. And locals are taking notice, with larger crowds gathering each week. Buddies goes beyond standard diner fare, featuring fresh ingredients, such as the Juevos Rancheros pictured above, and a selection of decadent coffee drinks. The perfectly seasoned hash browns are reason enough to stop in!
