35 beautiful miles of rolling terrain throughout Hunterdon County. On Saturday August 20, 2016, begin your local wine journey at The Historical and beautiful land mark, Main Street Manor, where you’ll enjoy a light breakfast of fresh cut fruits, squeezed juices and variety of carbs and bike check.
Then, roll out on a guided tour to the first stop, Old York Cellars, where you can taste 3 wines and enjoy the magnificent view from their orchard.
After spending about an hour, set off again to winery #2, Hopewell Valley Orchards where you will have an opportunity to stretch your legs, grab some cold water and taste 3 more wines of your choosing.
Last stop will be Unionville Vineyards before heading back to the Inn for freshly made herbal iced tea and some of the Inns favorite refreshments.
If you choose to purchase any wines that you enjoy during the tasting, they will be glad to transport your purchases back to the start for you. There will also be a SAG/Tech vehicle in case of any technical bicycle issues along the way.
Road bike in good working condition is highly recommended, along with a helmet, extra tubes and a pump or C02 system, 2 bottles of water or sports drink and bars or gels (we will have them at the start for you to take).
A waiver will be available for signature before we head out on the road.
Main Street Manor is also offering two night price of $329 + tax for Friday Saturday stay, which includes their famous two course breakfast each morning. Offer expires August 1st or when all five rooms are booked.
