Sunscreen-on-woman_edited
I want to protect my skin against the damaging effects of the sun this summer with the highest quality ingredients, but there is so much information out there that I don’t know where to begin or who to trust. What should I be looking for to ensure my skin is properly protected and nourished?  Is there a locally produced product available?

Dr. Brian R. BuinewiczWe recommend using a cream with at least 20% Vitamin C in order to prevent the elasticity of the skin from breaking down. Also, when it comes to treating dark spots, it’s important not to use the fading cream Hydroquinone, which is responsible for a number of damaging side-effects. Instead, try Kojilac C, which is a product that is safe to use all year round, preventing dark spots and pigmentation from forming while in the sun. And as always, make sure to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours in addition to any cream that you’re using.

At Le MedSpa of Flemington, we’ve crafted a specially formulated line of products that are perfect for nourishing your skin all summer long.  SkinRx by Dr. Buinewicz offers top-of-the-line skincare products, including a beauty and blemish cream with SPF 50 and a mineral powder bronzer with SPF 26.

One of our most popular treatments to help reduce skin damage is the new FDA-approved procedure – Ulthera of the chest and decollete, which is the upper part of a woman’s torso. The procedure, which we offer in our Doylestown & Flemington offices, treats fine lines and improves elasticity of the skin over the course of three to six months with slight improvement visible immediately.
