The Annual Patriots Ceremony will take place on Monday 9/11 at Patriots Point in Clinton in front of the Clinton House on Old Hwy 22. The one-hour ceremony will begin promptly at 8am, with addresses from each of the Town’s first-responder units, as well as Veterans organizations and public officials. A minute of silence will be observed with the Nation at 8:46am.

Ms Disotell has been caring for the maintenance and beautification of Patriots Point for over 13 years and is honored to pay respect to Police, Fire, EMS and Veterans groups: Order of the Purple Heart, Veterans Haven North and Rolling Thunder. Special music will be provided by Macheis Wind and bagpiper Cliff Delaney.

Those wishing to retire tattered or faded American flags can bring them for respectful disposal. Rolling Thunder National will be refreshing the colors of the US and POW-MIA flags on the flagpole at Patriots Point during this ceremony.

To offer support to the men and women at Veterans Haven North. There will be a collection of new XL-Twin bed-in-a-bag and pillows. Brand new bedding, on their arrival to the Veteran’s home, is theirs to keep and is a special way to show respect for their service to our country. A monetary collection will also be taken for this purpose.

This will be the 16th anniversary of the fall of the Twin Towers, the attack on the Pentagon and the crash in Pennsylvania.

Families are encouraged to attend and participate as we show honor to and respect for the men and women who serve.
