The Hunterdon Watercolor Society (HWS) will be hosting their 2016 art exhibit at the Sawmill Gallery at Prallsville Mill. 21 artists will be displaying not only watercolor paintings but all mediums of art including oils and acrylics. The show opens Saturday, July 9 and runs through Saturday July 23. Monday thru Friday from 1-5 and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-6. The show features landscapes from various locations around the County as well as many other subjects from florals, abstracts, pets, wildlife and still lifes — all painted by local artists. The Sawmill Gallery is located at the Prallsville Mill, 33 Risler Street, Stockton. An artist reception is set for Saturday, July 23 from 4-6 p.m. The exhibition, demonstrations and artist reception are free and open to the public.

The exhibition will be open every day and Hunterdon Watercolor Society member artists will be doing demonstrations on the three weekends the show runs. HWS meets the first Monday of every month at the Main Library at 7pm, September through June featuring demonstrations by noted local and regional artists.
