Delaware River Mill Society

There’s always something happening at the mill, from live music and art shows to history tours and yoga classes, it’s a natural meeting place for people of all ages to gather and share their passions for the arts and nature, and enjoy a peaceful retreat from their everyday lives. The unique, 10-building historic complex includes an 1877 grist mill, a 1790 linseed oil mill, an 1850 saw mill and a 1900 grain silo. Bring dad to roam around the historic grounds and overlook the Delaware River. Or start, the Father’s Day celebration a week early with the Summer Block Party & Movie Night on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 5:30pm to 11:00pm.
The block party will begin at 5 pm in the Saw Mill and feature the music of bluegrass band Hub Hollow and the abstract expressionist art of Erica Rachel. At dark, Disney’s Aladdin, featuring the comedic great Robin Williams, will be projected onto a 16-foot outdoor screen.
For Dad, tickets for the block party are $30 each and include two free drinks and two movie tickets. For kids of all ages, movie tickets are available for purchase separately and cost $5 in advance or $7 at the door. Tickets for both events are available at www.prallsvillemills.org
The evening is a fundraiser for the Delaware River Mill Society, the organization that maintains the unique, 10-building Prallsville complex along the Delaware that includes an 1877 grist mill, a linseed oil mill, saw mill and grain silo. This early industrial village now serves as a vibrant cultural and historic center and has become a natural meeting place for a variety of cultural and community activities ranging from yoga and Tai Chi to Spanish-language and art classes.
Alba Vineyard Father’s Day

Treat Dad to an an afternoon at New Jersey’s largest estate vineyard overlooking the scenic Musconetcong Valley. Enjoy the day with family and friends treating dad to a special event filled with a wine tasting, cellar tour, food for purchase, live music by The Jeff Bellfy Band, and more. Admission includes entrance to the event, music, and parking. $15 for adults 21 and over, $5 for ages 13 to 20, and children 12 and under free. No Reservations pay at gate.
